Minikins, Season 1

Ok, this is not really a traditional book. It’s a collection of 12 patterns available only as a PDF pattern and video bundle. This one is designed by Sara Lawson, and can be found here. The patterns are for small bags and pouches, and is great for getting your feet wet. They’re also great for using up those last bits of fabric and fat quarters.

Bellevue Pouch

These were one of the easier ones to make of this collection. The only con I personally had with these is that they don’t “nest.” The smaller sizes don’t fit in the next larger size due to the shape.

Sizes as follows: small 9” long x 5-1/2” high x 3” deep (23cm x 14cm x 7.6cm);
medium 9” long x 7” high x 3” deep (23cm x 18cm x 7.6cm);
large 9” long x 8-1/2” high x 3” deep (23cm x 21.6cm x 7.6cm)

Sidewinder Pouch

The Sidewinder Pouch is similar to the Moto Pouch below. This pattern gave me great experience in working curves.

Sizes as follows: Small 8-1/2” long x 3-1/2” tall x 1-1/4” wide (21.6cm x 8.9cm x 3.2cm);
Medium 9-1/2” long x 4-1/2” tall x 1-3/4” wide (24.1cm x 11.4cm x 4.4cm);
Large 10-1/2” long x 5-1/2” tall x 2-1/4” wide (26.7cm x 14cm x 5.7cm)

I-Spy Pouch

The I-Spy Pouch is fun and easy for a pouch with a clear panel.

It comes in three sizes: small 8-1/2” long x 6-1/2” high (21.6cm x 16.5cm), medium 9-1/2” long x 7-1/2” high (24cm x 19cm), large 10-1/2” long x 8-1/2” high (26.7cm x 21.6cm)

Moto Pouch

This pouch is great for using up those little pieces of odd fabric.

Finished size is approximately 8.5″ x 4″ x 2″ for the small size, and 9.5″ x 5″ x 2.5″ for the larger size.

Trifle Tumbler

This one was a little more challenging than the others I’ve already made. Read about my adventure here.

Finished sizes available are: Small 8” long x 4” tall x 3-1/2” deep (20cm x 10cm x 9cm),
Medium 9” long x 4-1/2” tall x 4” deep (23cm x 11cm x 10cm), Large 10-1/4” long x 5-1/2” tall x 5” deep
