Charlotte Square

We recently bought a new dining set, and found a perfect centerpiece at the thrift store. This created a need for something to protect the table from the glass edge of the bowl. It was a perfect chance to make the Charlotte square from lookatwhatimade.net!! (link below)

I didn’t complete the last part since I didn’t want it to be too large for my table. After blocking, the square ended up being 20 inches.

This kind of beauty does not come “cheap.” Like the designer’s Sophie’s Universe CAL, the instructions need a bit more focus and you may not be able to recall what happens on your show. But the result makes pausing Netflix well worth it!

Pixie Hat

Another quick post, just wanna share a quick project!

I felt like knitting recently and use up some scraps. The transition of the colors started earlier than the pattern calls for because I ran out of yarn!

Craft Sale Haul

This past weekend, I went to a local craft supply yard sale. There was only about an hour left when I got there, but still managed to find some great finds and deals!

The first table I went to, I already found my favorite brand of stamps! She also had a buy one get one free deal, so why not!

The sale tables were mostly of scrapbookers. A LOT of stamps!!! Lots of paper, one table had some yarn, but there were SO MANY STAMPS!! Total, I spent $13. Brand new, retail price of my haul is probably close to $100. So with patience, yard sales like this can be quite rewarding.

Super Cute Cupcake

I recently purchased a bunch of patterns by Jennifer Santos at Super Cute Designs.

My first finished project from her patterns is this cute cupcake! It came out as big as a muffin, and oh so delicious!!

These patterns don’t use up too much yarn. So it’s easy to just take any random color of scrap yarn, and you’ll end up with a quirky cute creation!

Jennifer’s patterns (that I’ve purchased so far) are very easy to understand and includes great photos to help you. Photos are placed away from the main instructions, in case you don’t need to print the photos and want to save ink. This cupcake pattern also includes instructions for a cute little strawberry.

Updated Lupo the Lamb

The creator of these Lalylala dolls recently released a pattern update for Lupo! It simply improved the body, making the bobbles closer together and the seam is now straight!

I personally love this new texture. It sacrifies an inch or two off his height, but it’s still as cuddly as ever!!
